Accessible parking
Accessible parking is free, and available at all locations for students, staff and visitors.
Persons With Disability parking permits
Persons With Disability (PWD) parking spaces are reserved for people with an Australian or red disability parking permit. You can park in the designated PWD bays or in any other parking space that isn't restricted or reserved.
You must clearly display the permit so the permit number and expiry date are visible from outside the vehicle.
Valid overseas and interstate disability parking permits may be used on campus, and are equivalent to the Australian permit. Queensland parking rules apply.

When you apply, attach a medical certificate with a justification around the need for close parking, and a proposed start and end date for the permit. The approved duration of the permit will be informed by the advice of the treating medical professional.
For long-term mobility issues, discuss your situation with your supervisor and OHS representative.
