Usually, we can only accept approved English language test results taken within 2 years of you starting at UQ. In recognition of the COVID-19 situation, for students commencing study in Semester 2, 2022, UQ will accept tests that have been taken within 3 years of starting at UQ.
TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT) Home Edition is now accepted as equivalent to existing accepted TOEFL iBT results for most programs.
If you are studying a nursing, midwifery or allied health program and plan to seek registration in Australia at the end of your studies, please note that the relevant AHPRA Boards may not accept English language test results that were taken more than 2 years before starting at UQ and a new test may be required to complete registration requirements.
In addition, TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT) Home Edition cannot be accepted for Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery programs. For all other programs that require higher-than-minimum English requirements please refer to the UQ English Language Proficiency Admission Procedures.
