The UQ Senior Executive Team (USET) includes the Vice-Chancellor, Provost, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Vice-Chancellors together with the Executive Deans of Faculties and one representative of UQ’s major research institutes.

USET are guided by the UQ Values and provide strategic advice to the Vice-Chancellor. USET are focused on whole-of-university management in key areas including strategic priorities, budget setting, oversight of risk and assurance, and organisational culture. Additional focus areas include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs and reconciliation, and UQ Advancement and philanthropy.
