Poor kidney development resulting in kidney disease and high blood pressure (2009-2010)

Abstract

Alterations in kidney development may underlie the onset of many diseases in the adult including high blood pressure and renal failure. Our understanding of how this occurs is very limited. We plan to use our unique sheep model to gain insight as to how poor renal development can contribute to these diseases.
