Abstract
The International Ocean Discovery Program will be the largest collaborative research program in Earth and Ocean Sciences. Fundamental research into the nature of sediments and rocks beneath Australia¿s huge marine jurisdiction is essential for sustainable management, understanding resource potential, and quantifying past climate change.
