ESEG_Australian Microbial Biodiscovery: Exploration of Bioactive Chemical Space (2005-2006)

Abstract

This project will explore the drug discovery potential of bioactive metabolites isolated from Australian microbes through a program of biodiscovery supported by biomimetic total and combinatorial synthetic chemistry. To use privileged knowledge of bioactive Australian microbe metabolites to access new chemical space to accelerate the discovery of New Chemical Entities (NCEs). Molecular libraries assembled during this project will be a valuable resource for dug discovery
