Dr Melinda (Franettovich) Smith is a physiotherapist and Lecturer in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She has worked as a clinician, researcher and educator across several settings including private practice, universities, the Australian Institute of Sport, and sporting clubs at school, community and elite levels. Her research interests and publications extend across several areas including trunk and lower limb muscle function, sports and running related injuries, taping and foot orthoses, measurement of foot posture and mobility, gait-retraining and musculoskeletal imaging.
