Participation in physical activity
I am passionate in promoting health and wellbeing in families - children and their caregivers - through promoting participation in physical activity within the home and community. My research focuses on empowering carers to engage in physical activity with their child/ren in preferred activities and finding inclusive options within their communities. I provide opportunities to try new activities and support children with disabilities to have a go. The optimal outcome is to promote sustained physical activity for all family members and a create a lifestyle fostering good health.
