Our students highly value the opportunity to put their learnings into practice with on-the-job experience. Final-year business, economics and law students can add value to your organisation by working with you on:

Internships 

Students complete at least 120 hours of work-based learning at your organisation.

Consultancy projects 

Students work in teams to develop a tailored response to your project brief with the support of a UQ mentor.

• Industry masterclasses: Host a 90-minute industry masterclass at our St Lucia campus or online to engage students on current industry trends, career opportunities or important recruitment skills. 

• Career panels: Join a panel of experts and alumni to discuss personal career journeys, current trends and skills development. In-person events can include networking opportunities with students and peers. 

• Workplace visits: Showcase your organisation by hosting students on an office visit that provides a glimpse of the exciting work you do.  

• Career convos: Meet small groups of students on campus to talk about your organisation, graduate pathways and internship opportunities.   

• Company presentations: Host an online company presentation to introduce your organisation or showcase your latest graduate and vacation programs.
