Cyclist and pedestrian safety at St Lucia
With a number of major projects underway across the St Lucia campus, we encourage cyclists, e-scooter riders and pedestrians to take extra care when travelling through the area, particularly along Sir William MacGregor Drive.
Be alert to construction vehicles and changing traffic conditions, follow all signage and traffic management directions, give way to trucks, and never attempt to overtake a turning vehicle.

UQ is on private property, so road rules can differ from Queensland Government regulations.

Secure your bike or scooter
You can park your bike, e-bike or e-scooter in our bike racks, boxes or storage rooms but not inside UQ buildings.
Do not charge your e-bike or e-scooter on campus as we don't have safe charging stations.
