A globally recognised leader in disability sport and rehabilitation, Professor Sean Tweedy AM leads the Adapted Sport and Physical Activity Research Group in the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences.
Sean's applied research generates knowledge to empower people with disabilities to engage in safe and effective sport and physical activities.
Beyond his academic work, Sean has classified at 4 Paralympic Games, serves as a Scientific Advisor to World Para Athletics, leads research for the International Paralympic Committee Classification Research and Development Centre, and is a passionate advocate for making sport fair and accessible to all.
