Overview
Background
Dr Wilson is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (ECR) and Clinical Measurement Scientist in sleep medicine. Since 2009 her research career has focused on sleep position and sleep-disordered breathing in pregnancy and maternal and fetal wellbeing, with her PhD awarded in 2019. She has 20 years of clinical experience as a sleep scientist, and currently provides clinical expertise on projects encompassing novel biomedical signals analysis in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea. Dr Wilson has authored 27 peer-reviewed publications (16 as first author; 717 citations; h-index 12) and is a recognised leader in Australia as the most published author in “Sleep and Pregnancy” (SciVal Apr 2024).
