Creating Value from Artificial Intelligence in Australian Organisations
Abstract
Minimising risk in the implementation of algorithmic decision-making is critical for Australia's social and economic development. This project seeks to discover the mechanisms by which organisations can redesign business processes through effectively and responsibly assembling algorithmic- and human decision-making capabilities. Expected outcomes include evidence-based theories and practice frameworks for value generation and capture from algorithmic decision-making. The goal is to empower Australian organisations in mastering new capabilities in algorithmic decision-making, fostering business process improvements (e.g., timeliness, efficiency) while concurrently delivering benefits to individuals and reducing harm to the broader society.
