Advancing clean sport education, workforce development and research

The University of Queensland (UQ) has partnered with the International Testing Agency (ITA) to become the world’s second ITA Academic Centre, delivering specialised anti-doping education and training for Queensland, Australia and the Oceania region.

Through the partnership, UQ will support the development of the clean sport workforce by training:

doping control officers
blood collection officers
chaperones
clean sport educators

The Centre will also strengthen anti-doping education, research and knowledge exchange through joint academic projects, guest lectures from ITA experts, and the integration of clean sport expertise into UQ curricula.
