Digital Transformation of a Sustainable NGO Business (2021)
Abstract
This research project examines the digital transformation of the NGO business Stationery Aid Ltd into the digital space. Through digitalization, social goals and environmental goals can be addressed by providing disadvantaged school students access to stationery resources while reducing stationary waste through recycling valuable resources. As part of the project, a rich digital presence based on the requirements and needs of the business is created, including various information pages and an online shop. The project develops new knowledge on the circular economy of physical products in the local setting of South-East Queensland.
