Contribute to the 2027 IPCC Methodology Report on CDR and CCUS for National Gas Inventories (IPCCSA) (2026-2027)
Abstract
This project supports participation in the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report (AR7) as a lead author forthe Carbon Dioxide Removal and Carbon Capture, Use and Storage (CCUS) methodology report. Thekey activities involve attending four IPCC Lead Author Meetings (LAMs) in Europe, Asia and Africa, andworking with international experts to develop the report. This work ensures Australian research andperspectives are reflected in the AR7 outputs and contributes to evidence that informs Australia¿sclimate mitigation and adaptation policies.
