GetCO2-Revealing the perovskite phase change (via Rietveld refinement) and grain coarsening process of perovskite quantum dots (QDs) encapsulated in metal-organic (2026)

Abstract

Black-phase lead-halide perovskites exhibit exceptional optoelectronic properties yet are unstable under ambient conditions. Our current work reveals that metal-organic framework (MOF) glass encapsulation improves light emission efficiency and provides protection for perovskite quantum dots. Moreover, in-situ SAXS reveals grain coarsening process, while PDF results show the formation and stabilisation of lead-halide bonds of perovskite. However, we still lack high-resolution of in-situ PD data (ranging from 5-90° Cu Ka) to reveal the phase change and unit cell information of encapsulated perovskite. This proposal focuses on investigating the phase and unit cell structure of encapsulated perovskite via in-situ PD and Rietveld refinement.
