Dr Jacqueline Jauncey-Cooke is the Director of Higher Degree Research in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. With a background in paediatric intensive care nursing Jacqui has established a multidisciplinary research program inclusive of clinical trials aimed at optimising chjild and family outcomes. She also has a series of research exploring workforce strategies within the paediatric setting which are producing measurable improvements. Jacqui holds an Associate Editor position in a paedatric focused Q1 journal, contributes to ANMAC accreditation panels and is an active member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses. Jacqui contributes to teaching within the School with a focus on evidence based practice, mental health and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Jacqui is an agent for the UQ RAP Network and a proud member of the Ally network.
