Dr Minyon Avent is an Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacist at the School of Public Health, The University of Queensland. She has many years of experience in developing and implementing programmes for the appropriate use of antibiotics in tertiary health care institutions, rural and regional areas as well as the general practice setting.
