Available projects

  • Impact assessments with high resolution climate projections

Prospective students interested in developing projects using high resolution downscaled climate projections for impact assessments in Australasia are welcome to get in touch. I might be available for HDR co-supervion.

  • High resolution future climate hazards, impacts and outreach

Our research group runs the Queensland Future Climate Science Program - a collaborative climate science program between the Department of Environment and Science (Queensland Government) and the University of Queensland - which developed CMIP5 an CMIP6 downscaled climate projections to support climate adaptation in Australia. We do regional climate modelling, analysis of climate extremes and hazards and the designing of climate services (dashboard portals and other communication resources) to inform stakeholders. Prospective HDR students interested in undertaking projects within these areas are welcome to get in touch. I might be available for HDR co-supervion.
