Overview

Background

I am an Alyawarre arrehle with a large and extended family as much as I am research academic, these combine to shape the objectives and impact I have achieved in the research and policy work that I do. My personal and professional journey has always been grounded in the strength of First Nations knowledge systems and the imperative to foster inclusive, just, and culturally responsive education.

Research impacts

I lead initiatives that integrate Indigenous knowledge into curriculum design, pedagogy, and institutional governance. I see policy and practice not as separate domains, but as interconnected levers for change. My research agenda focuses on inclusive practice where community voices are heard, systems of power critically examined and re-shaped, and real-world impacts are felt.
