Overview

Background

Dr Katerina Vaxevani is an early career researcher in the field of condenced matter physics. She specialized in Scanning Tunneling Microscopy and Spectroscopy during her PhD in San Sebastian, Spain.

Currently, she works as a post-doctoral researcher in the SPMQT Lab at UQ under the supervision of Dr Peter Jacobson.

Beyond her research interests, Katerina is dedicated to the public dissemination of science and to encouraging and supporting women pursuing careers in STEM.
