An operando characterisation platform for clean energy transition in WA (ARC LIEF administered by The University of Western Australia) (2025-2026)
Abstract
This project aims to investigate the transitional properties of energy materials in clean energy generation, storage, conversion, and utilisation under real synthesis and catalysis conditions by establishing an in situ and operando analysis platform. The project expects to generate new knowledge in materials chemistry and reaction kinetics with varying temperature, gases, light, and/or electrolytes. Expected outcomes include innovative catalyst design strategies and insights into clean energy transition and decarbonisation, as well as enhanced interdisciplinary collaborations. This research will provide significant benefits, such as the development of new knowledge and technology, contributing to Australia's transition towards clean energy.
