Research aims
Kate has a triple thread of skills: physiotherapy (BPhty Hons, James Cook University), rehabilitation science (PhD, University of Queensland) and neuroscience (Postdoc, University of British Columbia Canada and The Florey Melbourne). Kate's research in the field of stroke rehabilitation is focused on enhancing our understanding of the biological and therapy-induced potential for motor recovery. Using arm and hand function as the experimental model, Kate is leading several research projects to elucidate "right person, right treatment, right time".
