Qualifications

  • Doctor of Philosophy of Mathematics, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie

Research interests

  • Large-Scale Inversion of Geophysical Data

The goal is to bring in all available geophysical data sets for a region or province in a single inversion. Data sets include potential field, electro-magnetic and seismic data. This is a massive computational tasks and requires the use of large parallel computers. Focus of my work is the development of appropriate computational techniques and algorithms.

  • Numerical Modeling

in particular in the context of geophysical data.
