
Overview
Background
Dr Stephanie Bond obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) and a Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Melbourne in 2013, and received her PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the University of Calgary in 2019. She was the first recipient of the Storm Cat Career Development Award (Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation) to be enrolled at a university outside of the USA.
Steph has a diverse background in translational research, with extensive experience in both the scientific and practical aspects of the horse industry. She has publised on a wide range of topics, including the equine respiratory microbiota and mycobiota, exercise physiology, mild equine asthma and various aspects of sports medicine.
