Overview

Background

Matthew is a GP registrar currently undertaking an academic post in the General Practice Clinical Unit. His research is exploring the management of alcohol, tobacco and other drug addiction consults by GP registrars. Matthew is also involved in teaching, examination and creating resources for UQ medical students, particularly those completing their General Practice rotation. Matthew works part time clinically on the southside of Brisbane, and has previously worked in hospitals throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory. He also has an interest in public health, and has completed an MPH and has worked in multiple Public Health Units in Queensland.
