Overview

Background

Dr Caroline Cooper, BMedSci, MB,BS (Hons), FRCPA, GCertHE, MPhil, graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Tasmania and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists in Anatomical Pathology in 2007. She completed a Masters of Philosophy in Biomarkers in Breast Cancer, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and Perineural spread of squamous cell carcinoma in 2024 at the Simpson Lab at the Frazer Institute. Her areas of research include translational pathology, biomarker implementation and diagnostic precision in cancer. Caroline is a Senior Anatomical Pathologist and co-director of Anatomical Pathology, Pathology Queensland at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
