  • Impact of national security legislation on public interest journalism in Australia

    The research examines the tensions between the need to safeguard Australia's national interests and the need for journalists to be allowed to do their work that is in the public interest.

  • Examining the impediments to media freedom in Commonwealth countries.

    The project examines factors that impede media freedom in Commonwealth countries. Some of the obstacles include national security legislation, media laws, FoI, structural constraints, etc.
