Qualifications

Research interests

  • Sustainability Communication

Communication about and for sustainability and sustainable development and sustainable communication

  • Storytelling

I'm interested in storytelling as a communication strategy, as well as storytelling as process to story everyday live experiences, looking at narratives as social representations, and stories as the organising principle of how people give sense to the world

  • Climate change communication

public representations and framing of climate change and related phenomena

  • Framing

It's not always "only" about what is communicated in the media, by political institutions, corporates or NGO and even individuals (journalists etc.), but also about HOW it is communicated ... so I'm very interested in research that works with frame theory/framing approaches to better understand the interpretations and arguments about certain topics/issues.
